Intro to Multi-Pitch Rock Climbing

The ideal option if you have tried rock climbing a couple of times and are keen to experience the adventure of multi pitch climbing. This is also your chance to learn the best multi pitch climbing techniques from our experienced guides.

Squamish is blessed with incredible short multi-pitch granite climbing that is very easily accessible. Take on the famous crack climbing and friction pitches - no matter what your skill level, our guides will ensure you have a fun, safe, and fulfilling experience. We tailor the adventure for you personally, based on your experience and fitness.

Trip Details

Suitable for people who have rock climbed a couple of times and are curious about tackling your first multi pitch climb or developing your multi pitch climbing skills.  


Squamish is blessed with many areas ideal for short multi pitch climbs, such as the Apron, the Papoose, and the lower Malamut. We will tailor the location for your particular skill level and goals.

What to bring

We will bring all required technical equipment (ropes, harness, helmet, gear) except for climbing shoes. If you do not have climbing shoes, we recommend renting them from the ClimbOn store. You are very welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer.

You will need to bring warm layers, a windproof jacket, water, lunch, snacks, and a climbing bullet pack.


Pricing is based on the guide to guest ratio (either 2:1 or 1:1)

$260/person - If you prefer to share the experience with another guest (2:1)
$415/person - If you would like the undivided attention of the guide (1:1)

*Please note that gratuity is not included. It is customary to tip the guide 10-15%.
